Source Photonics to Spotlight its Latest Optical Innovations at ECOC 2025

Source Photonics Inc., a leading global provider of innovative and reliable technology solutions for communications and data connectivity for use in hyperscale and AI datacenters, today announce the product availability of its wide range of transceiver portfolio, including 1.6T and 800G optical transceiver modules/AOC/DAC based on single-lambda 200G PAM4 technology.

 

This year, Source will present its optical innovations under the theme “Meet, Share ideas, Discuss trends, Learn and Do business” with following demonstrations:

  • 1.6T Retimed OSFP: leverage new 3nm DSP and 200G PAM4 CWDM EML for DR8, 2xFR4, 4xFR2 and 2xLR4 with much reduced power consumption for new generation of AI compute scale-out applications.
  • 800G 4x200G: features DR4, FR4, and LR4 modules based on single-lambda 200G PAM4 CWDM/LWDM EMLs in form of either OSFP or QSFP-DD form factors covering multiple optical connector and interface options for operating reach of up to 10km.
  • 100G ZR QSFP28: showcase the industry lowest dissipation and smallest size QSFP28-DCO transceiver using coherent DSP and tunable laser for 100G ZR applications. The module can support either commercial or industrial temperature ranges.
  • 50G PON family: features the industry compact and lowest power PON OLT & ONU SFP56/SFP-DD product family leveraging industry-leading EML+SOA chip technology to support downstream optical bandwidth of up to 50G NRZ signals and upstream optical/electrical interface line rates of up to 25G burst reception, support XGS-PON/50G dual-mode and GPON/XG(S)-PON/50G-PON tri-mode co-existence. The optical power budget is designed to cover or be compatible with existing ODN networks.

  • Tuesday, September 30: Panel session: 1.6T deployment status and outlook for 100T switching, 15:30pm. This panel invites industry market leaders to address current 1.6T deployment status and outlook for 100T switching application.
  • Wednesday, October 1: Exploring AI network evolution and next path towards 448G/L IMDD, 10:00am. This invited talk will focus on to explore emerging optical technologies enabling next gen 400 Gbps/λ with IM-DD for AI optimized data center applications targeting next-generation scaling challenges of high-speed interconnects.
